Lev Sovin is a professional English teacher. From 1994 to 1999 he worked as an English teacher at Pushkin Lyceum. After that he taught English at language centers. Now he is an English teacher and director of Izglītības un kultūras centrs "SOVINS", Nr.3360800608 The teacher is dedicated to modern methods of teaching English. An emphasis is put on talking and communication, although other skills – listening, reading and writing – are being improved at the same time he takes a lot of interest in current political and economic events which is useful at the lessons. He also uses video, fiction, drama, newspaper articles, TV and radio BBC programmes, the Internet, music and the like. Lev Sovin is a thorough teacher. On the plus side is his constant desire to learn new things facilitating the process of teaching and trying to make the lessons exciting and amusing. His students successfully pass international English examinations which enable them to enter universities in the USA, Great Britain and other countries
